| Yusuf graduated from De Montfort University (UK, England) during 1998 with a Masters Degree in Computing. He has about five years experience in the education sector, starting in 1996, where he taught within the National Diploma IT at Cape Peninsula University Of Technology. It was during the year 2000 when he decided to enter the private sector within the Software Development space. He has now accumulated about ten years of valuable experience in this space. On a more personal note he has a special interest in a branch of Artificial Intelligence, viz. Neural Networks. Yusuf has a great passion for volleyball and has been involved in the sport for more than 23 years. He also enjoys the occasional round of golf with friends and strangers and occasionally finds himself in deep thought over the splender of the universe. Apart from all this, the most important aspects of Yusuf’s life is his family and enjoys spending time with them. |  Sue Roberts Chief Technology Officer
| Sue has a BSc in Computer Science and 11 years of experience as a Developer. During that time she has worked in the UK and SA almost always as a Developer, predominantly working on Web based solutions. Sue’s passion for learning new things means she has a wide variety of skills, not just in development. Although her recent software development experience lies in .NET/C# and SQL, she also has working experience with PHP, JSP, J2ME, C++, VB6 and Apple WebObjects. Outside of software development she has been involved in configuring web servers (IIS, Apache and Tomcat), Mail servers and even Blackberry servers. Sue loves designing databases, working mainly with SQL Server 2000/2005 and MySQL and she has played an architect role for several solutions over the years. Despite seemingly spending her life working, Sue does enjoy sports and especially getting away to quite places to do some fishing and water-skiing. She’s even been seen on a golf course attempting to hit a little white ball every now and then! |  Bertie Feris Finance Director | Bertie is Softlite’s finance guru and with 18 years of experience running his own financial advice related businesses, he brings a wealth of experience and skills to the company. He has attained a number of degrees and diplomas including a B.ED Degree (UNISA 1977), B.A. Degree (UWC 1973), Diploma in Small Business Development, Diploma in Crisis Management, Diploma in Community and Nation Building, Senior Teaching Diploma (UWC), Diploma in School Administration. In his strive towards excellence in his domain of expertise, Bertie has been recognised by being honoured with a number of financial and marketing related awards, including the SANLAM: Diamond Award for Marketing Excellence, Discovery Prestige Club Award: No. 1 Financial Advisor Nationally 2001/ 2002 Production Year, Diamond Partner 2002: Momentum Life and Gold Partner 2003: Momentum Life. Bertie is not a technical expert but he makes up for it with his enthusiasm for technology and despite being the principal of two schools in his younger days, he’s not too bossy!

| Shaun's keen interest in 1's and 0's led him to completing a diploma in computer science at CTI. Thereafter he focused on developing software solutions for both the desktop and web environment. Although he mostly develops using the Microsoft stack (.Net 4.0, Silverlight, ASP.net, WCF), Shaun is literate in several technologies. He enjoys a variety of sports, the favorite being football, squash and gym. When his fingers aren’t glued to the keyboard, you’ll find him holding drumsticks or an XBOX controller. |  Gugulethu Ntombela Developer | Gugulethu graduated from the University of Cape Town with a BSc degree in Computer Engineering. He gained valuable experience as a member of the team that started the development of the first South African Satellite’s Mission Control System. His technical skills include the .NET framework (with special focus on ASP.NET and C#), MSSQL, MySQL, PHP to name a few. He has special interest in Development Automation, Test Driven Development (TDD), and Mentoring. He spends most of his spare time exploring new technologies in the Open Source environment if not teaching his 2 year old son to write hello world. |
